America just got a little more patriotic. Vice President JD Vance and Second Lady Usha Vance are expecting baby number four, and the timing could not be more perfect.
The couple announced Tuesday on social media that they are having a boy, due in late July. "Usha and the baby are doing well, and we are looking forward to welcoming him," they wrote. The Vances also thanked the military doctors caring for their family and the staff helping them balance public service with raising their kids.
This is historic. Usha Vance, who turned 40 earlier this month, is the first wife of a sitting vice president to be pregnant while her husband is in office. Only three first ladies have given birth in the White House throughout American history, the last being Jacqueline Kennedy in 1963.
The White House wasted no time celebrating the announcement. "The most pro-family administration in history!" the official account posted. "CONGRATULATIONS!"
The Vances already have three children: Ewan, 8, Vivek, 5, and Mirabel, 4. JD and Usha met at Yale Law School and married in 2014. Before stepping into her role as Second Lady, Usha worked as a high-powered lawyer and clerked for Chief Justice John Roberts and Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
While the left pushes climate hysteria and tells young people not to have kids, the Vances are living proof that family comes first. They are raising the next generation of Americans while serving their country at the highest levels. That is what real leadership looks like.
